Lieutenant Reeves, Malcolm

Lieutenant Reeves and Ensign Fred Covington were the pilots of the two Seagull scout aircraft flown by the cruiser Northampton at about 1115 on 7 December to seek the attacking Japanese First Air Fleet. They encountered enemy aircraft but as they had been ordered to preserve radio silence did not report until they landed at Ford Island at 1517.
