Floating Drydock Two

Facing the south-eastern corner of Ford Island in Pearl Harbor were the Navy Yard's drydocks. From east to west they numbered One, Two, and Three and to the west of them was Floating Drydock Two. Drydock One had the destroyers Cassin and Downes and the battleship Pennsylvania in for repairs or refitting and Floating Drydock Two was the only other drydock actually in use on 7 December, with the destroyer Shaw in dock.
