Dewey

The Farragut Class destroyer Dewey differed from her sister ships in displacing 1,345 rather than 1,395 tons and in having a water-line length of 329 feet instead of 331 feet. She was laid down at Bath Iron Works Corporation on 16 December 1932 and was completed on 28 July 1934. On 7 December she was moored alongside her sister ship Worden off the north-eastern shore of Ford Island.
