Conyngham
Mahan Class destroyer No. 371 Conyngham was a sister ship to Case and shared her specification. She was laid down on the same day and completed on 10 April 1937. On 7 December 1941 she was moored off McGrew Point west of Aiea Bay. By 0855 she was firing on Japanese aircraft and claimed that at 0908 she had shot one down - but many claims were made that day for the same kills, so thick was the sky with anti-aircraft fire.
